The BIG Facebook fallacy…
Are you getting the wool pulled over your eyes?
With all the hoopla about Facebook and the plethora of social media sites it wouldn’t surprise me.
Social media has taken over so much of what we do and how we interact online.
Sites like Facebook can drive OBSCENE amounts of highly targeted traffic to your site.
But there is one very important fact that far too many marketers are missing.
And I don’t want you to be one of them.
Are you ready? Here it is…
Facebook is awesome, but email marketing is STILL king!
Check out these stats…
Email remains a significantly more effective way to acquire customers than social media — nearly 40 TIMES that of Facebook and Twitter combined (see above).
That’s because 91 percent of all US consumers still use e-mail daily!
Also the rate at which emails prompt purchases is not only estimated to be at least THREE TIMES that of social media, but the average order value is also 17 percent higher.
And so, I rest my case.
Email is STILL King.
The big take away is this…
While Facebook is great for driving traffic and social engagement, in comparison to email marketing it SUCKS for sales conversions.
And for that reason alone your Facebook efforts should all point back to getting your Facebook audience onto your email list.
If you are not taking the time to build your email lists (the right way), you’re completely missing the boat.
In this webinar training I reveal my 3 step process to creating highly profitable, customer based email lists in ANY niche.
See you there,
Glen “the King’s subject” Hopkins
