It is certainly true that one should be careful whom one listens to and free advice can often be crappy. However, I have found some good free information from time to time and with social web 2.0 news travel fast.
I would certainly agree that it is good to have high priced items as well if there is a good margin.
Paying for results? Yes! The other day I came across an internet marketer who charges based on the increased results he will produced (a percentage) – no results, nothing to pay.
I must say I admire the courage and the integrity and I would trust a person with this attitude. Jay Abraham talks about this way quite often.
I would like to see more of that!

Great 7 points! As a personal trainer, fitness instructor and sports nutrition lecturer you have given me the confidence to stop belittling my services. I always get results with my clients and so will keep up with getting their testimonials. I already do deliver more value such as bringing samples of ready to go healthy snacks for people with no time. As for creating an experience, I’ll offer one free flexibility assessment for anyone who prepays for a block of community fitness classes with me. I do need help with how to market specifically to the super rich. Any ideas? Periodically I do run specials for personal training sessions but I like the idea of having a specific “moving” sale or “Spring is coming in 3 weeks” sale
